9AM: We offer a simple 45 minute service in the Sanctuary. This service is informal and geared for our families, so come in your t-shirts and enjoy!

11AM: Our traditional Worship service is live-streamed and features music from the Organ and Chancel Choir. If you worship with us, sign in using our connect card.

Electronics Recycling Drive

Clean out your closets and drawers! The electronics recycling drive is scheduled for May 18 and is open to the community.

Avondale Pattillo Listening Sessions

The Church Council and the Visioning Team will host information sessions in the fellowship hall from 9:45-10:45am on April 21, April 28, and May 5. All are welcome to attend any of these identical sessions and learn about where we are in the process, what will come next, ask questions and provide feedback.

Welcome Home Supplies for Refugees

Decatur First's Engage Team and Men's Ministry are teaming up with New American Pathways to provide cleaning supplies for refugees resettling in our community. Donations can be placed in the sanctuary each Sunday in April. Most needed items are lysol, windex, trash bags, bleach, wipes, dish soap, and laundry detergent.

Joining Sunday

If Decatur First is starting to feel like home, you're in luck! Our next joining Sunday is coming up on May 12. If you are feeling called to take membership vows, you can do that with other new members at either 9am and 11am worship that day. Vacation Bible School

Rising kindergarten through 6th graders, as well as volunteers of all ages, are invited to Camp Firelight VBS from Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 7, 9am to noon.

Sunday's Art and Faith Event was lovely. We ate, we painted, we talked. It was a simple way to take some time away from our chaotic lives and concentrate on "being in the moment." Thank you Janice Watts Yates and Andie Ashe for leading!
