Fireworks Viewing Party | July 4th on the Front Lawn

We invite church members and Decatur neighbors to join us on the front lawn of the church for fun and fireworks. We’ve got a pretty good view of the Decatur firework show every 4th of July!

Last year our lawn was covered with folks on picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Folks brought their picnic baskets and there were children running around everywhere having a great time.

Fireworks start at sundown (sometime around 9pm), but people are welcome to gather on the lawn as early as 7pm. We’ll have popsicles, glow sticks and plenty of sidewalk chalk and bubbles for the little ones to keep them occupied while waiting for the fireworks to begin.

The Engage Team is gearing up to welcome our neighbors to the front lawn of the church to watch the fireworks, and we could use your help! We need folks to donate supplies ahead of time, as well as hands-on greeting, serving and welcoming on the night of the 4th. Click here for Google Sign-Up or email Brittany Jones:
