Singles

Single adults participate fully in all aspects of ministry at Decatur First United Methodist Church.   Single adults lead in worship, Sunday school, and on virtually every committee and action team of our church. 


Sunday School Classes


The young adult group is composed of both singles and couples in their 20's and 30's. 
 
The Spirited Singles Class welcomes mature single adults in their 50's, 60's and beyond. 

A new Sunday School Class, started in January of 2006, is intergenerational. Welcoming single, married, and "other" from all ages and stages of life.  This class is led by Rev. Frank Brock and meets in the Bassett House, across Ponce from the main Sanctuary building, on the corner of North Candler Road and Sycamore Street. 

Debtors, Koinonia, New Beginnings, Young Adult, and Ichthus classes all include single adults in their membership.
