Family Ministries
“Family” is a big buzz word at Decatur First United Methodist Church. When Jesus was asked about his family, he said, “Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother." We are all members of our church family and we do a lot of the things that any normal family would do – we eat together, we take care of each other, and we have fun together. Whenever you hear the words “church family” you know that everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. Decatur First offers classes, seminars, and workshops and events to nurture both our church family and our own personal families.
