Prayer Ministry

Jesus commanded us to love one another. Paul encouraged us to share one another burdens and to rejoice when one rejoices and to weep when one weeps. We are part of a community of faith called Decatur First that loves and cares for one another and for all God’s children.

Praying for one another is a source of comfort and joy. Intercessory prayer is an important and integral part of being the church. It is one way we can carry out Jesus’ command and Paul’s exhortation. Prayer can be a freeing and healing event in our lives. Feel free to share your burdens and concerns and allow the church to join in your celebrations.
