What time are the Decatur First UMC worship services?
Traditional Worship services are held Sundays in the Sanctuary at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. These services feature traditional hymns and music, and the attire is business casual. There is a certified American Sign Language interpreter at the 11:00 a.m. worship service.
The Come As You Are (CAYA) Service gathers Sunday mornings in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. This service features contemporary instruments and music, and the attire is casual.
Where is the church located?

Can I participate in communion?
Yes. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate. The communion table of the United Methodist Church is open and all are welcome at the table, including persons of any age. Communion is typically served the first Sunday of every month.
How do I schedule a baptism at Decatur First UMC?
Baptism is a special event held Sunday mornings at Decatur First UMC. The baptism of an adult or child is a sacrament of initiation into the body of Christ, and joins the newly baptized member with the church and with Christians everywhere. It is the beginning of a lifelong journey of growth in Christ. The United Methodist Church recognizes any Christian baptism.
