Both the Traditional and CAYA Worship Services are supported by people who: Serve as greeters Make announcements Sing in choirs Play instruments Those who volunteer on Sundays can help with worship by: Seating worshippers Collecting the offering Assisting with serving Communion Getting involved with Sunday worship in one or more of these capacities is a great way to connect with the people and the mission of Decatur First UMC. Honduras Mission Trip Interest Meeting, Sunday– Decatur First has been sending mission teams to Honduras for over twenty years. With Honduras Outreach International, our volunteers work in a village in the Agalta valley in central Honduras by aiding with home repairs and construction projects, leading vacation bible school, and fellowshipping with the villagers. Our next trip will be February 4-11, 2012. If you are interested in finding out more about this mission opportunity, please come to the Adult Library (Room 207) at noon on Sunday, September 25, to get more information and hear from those who have been on this trip.
